Juniper Class

Welcome to Juniper Class

Welcome back to the summer term, this term Juniper class are embarking on a new adventure-Our new topic is Woodland Rangers.

Our learning adventure has started with our classroom becoming its very own woodland. We are investigating plants and what plants need to grow and stay alive and we will be looking at the topic of light and how shadows are formed.
In maths children have been focusing on revising maths from the autumn and spring term. We have also started our learning of Time and will move onto money shortly. We are having our flying starts every morning and times tables practice time but please can those at home practice with us so we can really improve this skill.

In English the children started their writing task with some wonderful information texts about woodland animals. We will now be writing persuasive letters protecting woodland animals linking to our class book 'The animals of Farthing Wood'.
