Our learning adventure has started with our classroom having its' very own cave, complete with fire and drying rack for preserving food. The cave walls are already decorated with hand prints, which must have been put there by some visiting stone age people.
This term we will be focusing on Place Value and comparing and ordering numbers from 0-100. We will also be developing our addition and subtraction mental and written strategies, and learning our times tables up to 12x12.

In English the children will be producing writing based on the books Stone Age Man and Stone Age Boy. They will be writing newspaper reports, stories and non-fiction pieces.
