King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table
During the Autumn term, Juniper Class will be travelling back in time to Medieval Britain to learn all about the Dark Ages. We will discover all about castles: why, where and how they were built, as well as how people lived during this time. However, we must watch out for the dangerous dragons!
For an overview of our learning this term, please read the parent overview below:
To support our theme, we will be reading No Ordinary Boy by Tracey Mayhew, which will be used in our English lessons, where we will be learning all about Merlin the magician.
Things to remember:
- Juniper Class PE days are Tuesday (indoor) and Thursday (outdoor).
- Juniper Class swimming lessons begin on Thursday 4th November and end on Thursday 9th December.
- Reading planners need to be in school everyday. Children need to read with an adult at least 3x a week and record this in their reading planners. These will be checked every Thursday.
- Children should access Times Table Rock Stars at least 1x a week on the following link: Times Tables Rock Stars: Play (ttrockstars.com)
