"Cam Woodfield PTA held its 2021 AGM on Monday 4 Oct. Thank you to all those who joined us. The minutes have been distributed by email but we would like to take this opportunity to introduce this year's elected committee members.

Secretary- Nikki Morrison.
We also have 7 general members, Meg Lansdowne, Kathryn Hewitt, Rich Lane, Caroline Wright-Roberts, Theresa Richardson, Sue Tudor and Nicki Pitts.

Cam Woodfield Parent Teacher Association is an organisation for the Juniors, Infants and the Nest, both Pre-school and Out of School Club. All parents are automatically members and we hope everyone will join in the activities in some capacity.
The Friends have paid for children to go to the pantomime and money has been donated for expensive trips, such as Y5/6 World War 11 evacuation. The Friends support the Schools in several ways: they raise money for equipment and to pay for opportunities which the schools would not be able to afford. Some examples of purchases are library stands, shelving and books for the new library in the Juniors; a Friendship bench in the Infants and a computer for the Nest.
In addition, the Friends support the school by providing tea and coffee at Parent's Information evenings and concerts.
The Friends organise events such as Summer and Christmas Fairs, car boot sales, quiz evenings and children's film nights.
A committee of volunteers meet on a regular basis. They are supported by a larger group of parents, families and staff who help on the day of an event.
