Due to retirement, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a part-time Office Administration Assistant at Cam Woodfield Junior School.
We are a wonderful school that is very much at the heart of a vibrant community. We have an excellent staff team, lovely children who always give us their best, an incredibly supportive parent community and an ambitious governing body.
As first point of contact for all visitors, the ideal candidate should have good customer service skills and thrive in a busy working environment, working calmly under pressure to meet deadlines. We are seeking an individual who is efficient, flexible, friendly, and passionate about providing an excellent support service to our children, staff and visitors.
You will be able to represent the values of the school and ensure safeguarding policies and procedures are adhered to. You will be motivated, enthusiastic and be able to work with and support a diverse range of people, working under direction and on your own initiative.
You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be flexible in your approach to the wide range of duties the post entails.
To be successful in this role you will:
  • Contribute towards the positive ethos of the school
  • Prioritise work to meet conflicting deadlines
  • Be able to manage working at pace whilst receiving interruptions throughout the day.
  • Maintain accurate records and track progress of work
  • Undertake administration duties including preparing routine correspondence, answering phones, and initial contact for visitors to site and managing the communications to the school community
  • Use ICT applications, including schools Management Information System (SIMs), word processing and databases

The post is for 17.5 hours 2.5 days per week, Wednesdays 12:30 – 3:30 and Thursdays/Fridays 2 days 8:30 – 16:00 term-time only
The ability to work more hours to cover absence would be available.
 
We would like the successful candidate to start 5th September 2022.

Teaching Partner 1:1 - Part Time - Closing date 5th July 2022
 
Cam Woodfield Junior School are seeking to appoint an exceptional, committed individual who can provide 1:1 support for a pupil with additional needs.
We would like to appoint a team player, who will support the aims and core values of the school.

In addition to this, we would like a teaching assistant who:
