During the Spring term, Elm class will be exploring Eco-Life, with a focus on rivers and sustainability. Through Science and Geography we will learn about the water cycle, physical geographical features and how humans affect the environment. We will be creating a class art piece combining Art and D.T. techniques to show our own collage of a river, as well as learning about how others show their interpretations. Each week we will find new clues and items in our 'Curiosity Corner' to help spark our imagination and lead us to new discoveries about our theme.
In Maths we will be securing our knowledge of the four operations and honing our skills by applying these to different concepts and problems.. We will continue to work hard to learn our multiplications and have weekly tests. Our national times tables tests take place in the Summer term.
For an overview of our learning this term, please read the parent overview below.
